Wally Do’s Upset Goon Squad

The Wally Do’s came out guns blazing last evening, and skated their way to a 7-5 victory over the Goon Squad. After the game, we caught up with star forward Chase Gordon who was instrumental to the team’s win:

HL.COM: So Chase, you scored a hat-trick tonight, that’s gotta feel pretty darn good.

CG: Ah-ha, cheaaa! You know it, dawg! We didn’t know what to expect from this team coming into the game… but when we saw that it was a bunch of dudes and chicks who were CU Club Team athletes, we knew they were going to play well together, and we knew we were going to have to just straight kill bitches out there.

HL.COM: And that you did! Tell me about the change in your team’s play since your previous game against the Fragglestickcars.

CG: Well, in our first game, I think everyone was just going crazy and had tunnel vision straight to the net. We all just wanted to score goals. But this time, we started to work better together, had some good passing, obviously finished our shots better, and we had much shorter shifts so I think everyone was feeling a little more fresh. And plus, the other team had tons of chicks on it, so I think everyone was skating extra hard to impress them, but also to make sure we beat them. We [definitely] didn’t want to lose to girls, that would suck.

HL.COM: Being 2-0 now on the season, what do you think is the likelihood that the Wally Do’s will go undefeated and win the championship in late April?

CG: Pshh! Slap a Midas guarantee on that ass! Looking at some of the other scores around the league, it looks like the Iceholes might bring something to the table… but I’m going to go ahead and just ruin that dinner party, cause I’ll be bringing the heat and anything with the name “ice” in it, doesn’t do well in heat, catch ma’ drift? Yeah, I can already taste the champagne pouring out of the Cup into my mouth, and all over dem’ white bitches.

So there you have it folks! The Wally Do’s will be Spring Break 2010ing for the next few weeks, but while they’re soaking in the rays somewhere on a beach in Mexico, they will undoubtedly be looking ahead to their next match up vs. the Sig Alphs which will take place on March 30th, at 9:45 PM MST.
