Proud parents, caps and gowns, wild parties and moving trucks can only mean one thing, it’s graduation! This past weekend in Boulder we celebrated to honor the tremendous achievement of many close friends who, after four years of fun, fun, fun and the occasional homework assignment, have reached the end. We hosted a lovely gathering at our house complete with a DJ, heaps upon heaps of delicious grille food and the finest drinks the local Liquor Mart has to offer. It was a real treat to see many of my friends and their families together; there was an incredible sense of pride and accomplishment. What’s better, it was the perfect boost I needed to kick-start my schooling again after a five month hiatus. Summer school began yesterday and it was a real slap in the face. Maybe one day, I’ll graduate too.
In my latest bloggings I’ve raved about snowboarding this, snowboarding that, snowboard to be cool, snobrd 4eva’, etc… Well I just can’t get enough of it, so yesterday Patrick Westfeldt and I hit up Arapahoe Basin to get our boarding fix for the week. For those nonbelievers out there, those of you who didn’t believe snowboarding makes you cooler, please see the below photo of Patrick. FYI, this amazing hair-do magically appeared upon his head after our first snowboarding adventure last week. If that is not conclusive and indisputable evidence that snowboarding can take your coolness to new heights, then call me crazy.
I love being cool. I love it so much that I decided to go snowboarding, again. Today, Shay and I recruited a few more of our friends to come and try snowboarding. Now, when we go out on the town tonight, and forever more, we’ll be rolling with a large crowd of super cool dudes.
