Jumping in Keystone

There hasn’t been much good weather to speak of in Summit County, CO this past month; below zero temperatures, blowing snow and gray skies are the norm. Despite the unpleasant conditions, the park at Keystone mountain is teeming with skiers who are here to train for upcoming events such as the X-Games and the US Freeskiing Open. Occasionally, we are graced with a blue bird day and we try to take full advantage of these, jumping from early morning to late afternoon. It’s been fun watching everyone jump, there are lots of fancy tricks to be seen and I look forward to the competitions.

Field Productions hits Colorado

Coming all the way from Norway, the Field Productions crew is here to do some filming for the early winter months. These guys are the hottest Europeans alive; it’s an easy task for them to set up spectacular night time shoots like this one we did at Keystone this past week. I don’t ski pipe too well, but make sure you purchase Field’s next flick, because my housemate Matt Philippi tore this thing apart.

I’ll be filming with these guys until they head back home. Hopefully we’ll get some shots at Keystone and Breckenridge in the parks.
